Hand Seven International Establishes Design Center in Haining, China

  

In November 2023, Hand Seven International Co., Ltd. officially signed an agreement with 浙江天和典尚實業集團有限公司 to establish the “Hand Seven Design and R&D Center” within the H-SECT Clothing Industrial Park in Jiaxing, China. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Ms. Yang Minqing, Deputy Director of the Investment and Talent Attraction Bureau of Chang’an Town, Haining City, and attended by representatives from both parties, marking the beginning of a new partnership.

As a professional apparel manufacturer based in Taiwan, Hand Seven International has built a strong presence across Southeast Asia, with garment production facilities in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar. The company currently employs over 7,000 people and collaborates with numerous internationally renowned sports and fashion brands, including Champion, EA7, UMBRO, ASICS, and JAKO.

The decision to establish an R&D center in China was driven by several key factors:

  1. China’s abundant and highly skilled talent in fashion design and garment manufacturing
  2. A comprehensive textile and apparel supply chain, covering everything from fabric sourcing and design development to full-scale production
  3. Strong domestic market potential, which complements our production strengths in Southeast Asia and supports market expansion in China
  4. Expectations from several partner brands for Hand Seven to establish a development center in China to improve sample development and communication efficiency

Located within the H-SECT Clothing Industrial Park, the new Design and R&D center houses a sample showroom and sample production lines, serving as the frontline for our fast design and development efforts. It will further enhance collaboration with our brand partners through improved responsiveness and deeper integration.

鮮少在媒體前曝光的亨昇國際,創立於1997年,主要從事紡織、成衣、布料之進出口貿易。其產品外銷至義大利、英國、比利時、匈牙利、俄羅斯及東南亞越南、柬埔寨等國。因其優異的生產品質、專業的銷售團隊及優良的售後服務,得到歐洲客戶的青睞。主要客戶包含百年運動品牌Champion、企鵝牌Penguin及亞瑟士ASICS。公司更於2017年拿下世界精品ARMANI的休閒服飾訂單,為台灣成衣業針織運動服飾類在歐洲市場的隱形冠軍。

亨昇國際總經理莊忠衡 Adam Chuang,早年在台塑福懋興業公司任職時和太太廖雅萍 Grace (現任亨昇國際副總) 外派至義大利。受到歐洲時尚產業重鎮薰陶,從聽不懂義大利文到與客戶侃侃而談,並建立深厚情誼。1997年回國後先由太太 Grace在自家車庫創業,承接歐洲客戶零星的針織布料訂單,直到2005年成衣配額限制解套,看到成衣外銷市場的潛力,並在客戶的支持鼓勵下全心投入成衣業。

亨昇國際總經理莊忠衡說:「亨昇國際一路走來,秉持誠信原則,站在客戶的角度思考,產品發展的重點為小量多樣,成立技術中心,快速提供設計師當季樣衣。競爭策略就是要與品牌建構完整連結,透過了解市場需求才能完整掌握產線規劃。」亨昇國際的核心競爭力是願意配合品牌承接小量多樣的生產訂單(歐洲平均訂單為一個款式5,000件,包含4-6種不同的顏色,還有不同歐洲國家的包裝及配送地點)單色單款單量小,生產過程繁瑣,讓許多競爭對手都望之卻步。

亨昇國際今年上半年的接單量相比去年,歐洲市場成長30%,美國市場也呈倍數成長。從早期發單開始到東南亞設廠策略聯盟,目前越南廠產線預計擴充至24條,同時柬埔寨廠產線也預計擴充至70條,一日可生產近4萬件成衣產品。總經理莊忠衡看好未來紡織成衣市場的發展,也希望能夠有更多優秀人才能夠投入,因10多年前即南向至越南設廠,希望政府新南向政策能夠提供企業更多實質獎勵措施,讓台灣紡織成衣業發展能夠生生不息,再創高峰!
